So you’re going about your day when you witness something that made you say “I wish I took a video of that!” Do not worry, you’re not the only one who experiences these missed opportunities. In fact, they may happen more than you’d realise. Here are some situations you wish you have a camcorder with you to document the event.
Proposal
This does not even have to be a proposal of people you know. Because you have to admit, 
unless the guy (or girl) plans on proposing surrounded by friends, it’s really not feasible to be around when this happens to people you know. A marriage proposal of strangers in a restaurant, park, or just about any other place is a wonderful thing to witness. And if you were able to take a video, you can spread the love, so to speak. Of course, it’s not recommended to share this video if the girl (or guy) says no.
Bizarre Road Accidents
Some road accidents are just too bizarre for words that you need a video as a reminder that you did witness one. There really is no point in telling your friends about how this giant hole appeared on the highway on your way to work when you have no video to prove it. Who knows, you might just be contacted by the local news station so that they can use your footage. Just a reminder, though, you might want to stop shooting and think about helping others if said accident has casualties.
Astounding Natural Phenomena
Great examples are seeing the aurora borealis, a hurricane in the distance, or a meteor shower. Unless you have been studying these events, you probably do not know when you will be able to actually witness their majestic display of power and beauty. And when you finally witness them, you will wish you had a camcorder with you. But then again, some would say that being in the presence of an astounding natural phenomenon is a situation where you will be forgiven if you do not end up recording a video. The only thing expected of you is to be in awe.
Baby’s First Steps
Oh, infants sure are inconsiderate. You feed them, you clothe them, and you give them all the loving your heart is capable of. You would think that they’d have the decency to warn you when they’ll be taking their first step, right? But no, that is something they do on their own terms. Before you could even begin to yell to someone to give you the camcorder, baby has toppled over to the floor, exhausted from her first upright adventure. You beg her to do her cute wobbly walk again, but she’s more interested in your shiny camcorder.
Family Recipe
You think it’s just another weekend gathering at your grandparents’ house. You will have 
lunch with your family and then go home after an hour or two. Somehow you arrive earlier than the others. You catch your grandmother still cooking up a storm. She’s cooking a dish that everyone in your family (and neighboorhood) loves. She tells you that the recipe has been handed down in your family from generation to generation. She wants to show you how to make the dish. And THAT is when you’ll wish you had a camcorder with you.
